Dear Supporters and Friends,

For the second year in a row The San Francisco Brass Band achieved a decisive victory  at the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) Championship in Huntsville, Alabama.  This incredible success is a testament to the talent, dedication, and passion that define our ensemble.  Our members put in countless hours of rehearsal and poured  their heart and soul into these championship performances.  

The Importance of Your Support:

While our recent success is a cause for celebration, it also serves as a reminder of the challenges we face as a nonprofit organization. The San Francisco Brass Band relies heavily on the generosity of our supporters to sustain our operations, fulfill our mission, and continue pursuing excellence in the world of British brass banding.

How You Can Help:

We invite you to join us in our goal to raise $2,000 to ensure the long-term viability of the San Francisco Brass Band and fulfill our mission.  

• Our Goal: To raise $2,000 in donations by October 22, 2024.

• Matching donations: Generous donors have pledged to match the first $1,000 in donations.  Be one of the first to donate to double the impact of your contribution!

How Your Contributions Will Be Used

20% will be earmarked to inspire the next generation of brass band musicians by establishing a Bay Area youth brass band.  

20% will be be used to defer travel expenses for our student members and less financially fortunate members.  

The remainder will go into our general fund to cover necessary expenses to ensure that we continue to deliver performances that will delight our audiences.  These include: Insurance; Rehearsal facility rental; Compensating staff; Purchasing music, etc.
